- Drink plenty of pure water throughout the day.
- Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables.
- Stop eating junk food, which is usually processed food containing preservatives.
- Exercise 3-5 times per week, helps to prevent heart disease, stroke and high blood pressure.
- Drink less Alcohol, this not only ads calories, but can cause liver problems.
- See your doctor for regular check ups (at least once a year), check your blood pressure, cholesterol etc.
- Eat less saturated fat, which is found in fast food, snacks, cakes and dairy products. This type of fat raises high blood cholesterol levels.
- Get plenty of sleep at least 8 hours.
- Take a multivitamin daily.
- Learn to laugh more, rent funny movies, hang out with friends and have fun.
